Q & A
1. About Exhibitor ApplicationQ1:How to apply for WFD? What do I do if I have questions?
A:Go to the “Register” page of WFD website, and follow the instruction to register by either online or email. Biography, archive or brief introduction of yourself as a photographer is recommended to be included in your application. For further question, please contact: Serv@WonderFoto.com Q2:Am I accepted as the exhibitor of WFD once I have done with all the application procedure? A:Completing the application procedure does not mean acceptance to participate in WFD. All application will be juried by selection committee to decide who will be involved. Q3:What kind of photography has better chance to be selected? A:WFD is open to all types of photography. As long as the photographer show his or her own uniqueness or originality, any kinds of photography will be very likely to be selected. WFD is also open to amateur photographers. In the belief of every photographers are unique for their different experience, we are looking forward to having people of all backgrounds gathering at WFD, and bring new inspiration to one another. Q4:How many can be selected as WFD exhibitors? A:We have prepared 120 spaces for the exhibitors. Adjustments might be made depending on the situation. Q5:Can several people register as a team for only one booth? A:Yes, but the number of the summited photos during registration is still limited to five. However, the booth size might cause disadvantages for booth design and photography display if there are too many members in the team, we would still recommend photographers to register on their own. If members from the same group or team are all selected, feel free to contact WFD to arrange your booths in the same area. Q6:Can one person register for more than one booth? A:Yes, but adjustments might be made depending on the situation. Q7:If I fail the selection, does it mean my photos are not good enough? A:We appreciate every piece of photographs we receive from the application. However, we might have too many photographs similar in content or theme, which might result in judging according to the photographer’s experience or biography. Q8:When should I pay for the WFD entry fee? A:You do not have to pay until you are selected as the exhibitor. Payment information will be send along with the selection result via email. The selection result will also be announced on WFD website and FB page. Q9:What should I do after I am selected as one of the exhibitors? A: Please pay for the entry fee. After we have done the confirmation of you payments, you can start your planning of photography display and booth design. Q10:What is the exhibition design and schedule for WFD? A:For the exhibition design, photographers are free to play with the exhibition format of their photography works on the 120cmX120cm table given. The idea is to have the photographers curate their own exhibition. Q11:Can I place my photography works somewhere else other than on the table?
